Usage Instructions:

Large Clamp (Twin Cam Engines):

1. Loosen both locking bolts.
2. Position the large clamp between the camshaft gears.
3. Push the slides apart until the clamp engages with the timing gears.
4. Tighten both bolts to secure the camshafts in place.
5. Replace the timing belt according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Once complete, loosen both bolts and remove the clamp.

Single Clamps (Single, Twin, and Quad Cam Engines):

1. Identify the correct position for the clamp.
2. Insert the clamp under the cam gear and hook the end behind it.
3. Hold the clamp in place and tighten the locking bolt until it makes contact with the cylinder head—do not overtighten.
4. Tighten both bolts to engage with the timing gear.
5. Replace the timing belt following the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Once complete, loosen both bolts and remove the clamp.
